Inspired by two single capital letters, G & B, found in the Morgan Press Wood Type catalogue. With only two letters available, there was enormous scope to invent the rest of the alphabet. This set us on a deep dive into the letterpress alphabets and printed specimens. No single source dictated our final design but rather a broad set of influences, which infused the font with a balance of history and modernity.
